The Vision

The Harbor Campus is more than a building — it’s a place where people of all ages can connect, learn, and celebrate.

Born out of the community’s long-standing need for a dedicated senior center, the Harbor Campus has evolved into a shared vision:

A place that serves our seniors, strengthens our families, celebrates our culture, provides opportunities for community connection, and protects our environment.

A Community Center for All

The Harbor Campus is more than a building — it’s a place where people of all ages can connect, learn, and thrive.
The Harbor Campus will bring together a dedicated Senior Center, Event and Gathering Space, and Environmental Learning Center — all on one vibrant, community-owned campus.

Senior Center

A dedication home for health, wellness and community.

Event Center

An accessible welcoming event and gathering space for civic, cultural, and private events.

Environmental Learning Center

Classrooms, trails and an outdoor campus for education, conservation, and hands-on environmental programs.

Community Stories

“For years, our senior community has gathered in wonderful spaces, but none that were our own. The Harbor Campus means finally having a place designed for us, where we can connect, learn, and belong.”

Gig Harbor Senior Center Member

“Gig Harbor has long needed a place that brings people of all ages together. The Harbor Campus will be the heart of our community — where we celebrate, collaborate, and strengthen the connections that make this such a special place to live.”

Gig Harbor Resident and Business Owner

“The Harbor Campus will open new doors for students to explore and learn from the natural world right in their backyard. It’s an incredible opportunity to inspire future generations to care for our environment.”
